At Tuff Dog Australia, we believe your gear should work as hard as you do. Every collar, lead, outboard cover, and rugged gear bag we make is proudly handcrafted in Renmark, South Australia, using the highest quality materials and decades of hands-on experience.

What started as a small workshop creating products for our own dogs and boats quickly grew into a trusted brand known across Australia for premium, reliable gear built to handle real life.

Our Story

In 2009, the opportunity arose for Kaine and Annette to purchase an industrial sewing machine. A.A Canvas & Shades was born and Annette began operating from home part time around their family. In March 2011, with the business rapidly growing, AA Canvas & Shades moved to a larger premise to accommodate the expanding workload.

Kaine had been pigging locally and across VIC and NSW for 15 years when he was asked by a hunter of 30 years to fabricate a durable collar. Together, they designed the collar and Kaine began producing a range of pigging accessories….Tuff Dog Australia was born.

In 2025, to reflect the change and growth in the business and the products being offered, Kaine and Annette wanted to refocus the Tuff Dog Australia brand and differentiate it from the other parts of their business by creating a dedicated website.
